About The Round Table Events

 

For several years, Robert Half has successfully hosted a series of Executive Network round table events in major cities across the UK. The programme provides a forum for senior finance and business leaders from a variety of industry sectors to discuss relevant opportunities and challenges facing their organisations and finance teams. 

At each event we compare views to the wider UK market, taking into consideration organisation, size, sector and region. The content from these discussions is then made available to the wider finance community.

This year’s topic was The Finance Team – Setting the Business Growth Agenda. Participants discussed how, whilst the picture is far from uniform, business growth brings new challenges, especially for finance teams that have been stretched thin, specifically:

  • Challenges and opportunities that preparing for growth brings  
  • Skills, roles and technologies required to benefit businesses in a stronger economy 
  • How the finance function can remain at the heart of the organisation 
  • View the round table attendees
