The Company

Robert Half Financial Services are currently recruiting for leading, London based, commodities trading firm. The well established firm have a superb reputation within the market for offering progression throughout business units and due to recent business growth are recruiting for an additional Internal Auditor to join their London team. There will be c.40% global travel to South America, Africa as well as East Asia. Whilst the main role of the audit function within the business is to select audits based on risk, carrying out the audit and reporting this role will also be heavily involved with ad-hoc projects including the assessment of capital expenditure related to fixed assets or investments

The Role

The role will report into the Head of Internal Audit and holding responsibility for planning audits with a view to leading in a short period of time, preparing audit reports for the Audit committee and Business Divisions as well as getting involved with projects such as; developing risk assessments, developing systems, acquisitions support and due diligence projects. There is also opportunity to be involved with capital expenditure and investment appraisal reviews.Applicants should be experienced auditors coming from either a large practice or international company; and have 4 years audit experience will still be considered. Candidate MUST have experience of working within Capital Markets and any commodities experience would obviously be beneficial. Applicants must be willing to travel extensively worldwide (40-50%) and be commercially aware, a second language is desirable but not absolutely necessary. Due to the amount of commercial input with the role, confidence, diplomacy and outstanding communication skills are a pre requisite. Candidates should apply asap to be considered.

Salary & Benefits

£50,000 to £60,000 with an outstanding benefits package and discretionary bonus
