Finance manager qualifications, skills and experience

Basic requirements for a role as finance manager should begin with a specialist qualification, such as CIMA, ACA or ACCA. It’s beneficial to be Qualified by Experience and to have worked within the finance sector for several years. This should be accompanied by a degree in one of the following academic areas:

  • Management
  • Business Studies
  • Economics
