What is AWS re/Start?
The AWS re/Start programme is part of Amazon’s efforts to help 29 million people globally grow their cloud computing skills for free by 2025.

How is it structured?
AWS re/Start is a free, 12 week, full time skills development programme. The programme works with collaborating organisations to deliver a learning experience that prepares unemployed or underemployed individuals for entry-level cloud positions, such as cloud operations, site reliability and infrastructure support.

It's inclusive
The programme's mission is to build local talent by providing skills and job opportunities to underrepresented groups such as disadvantaged youth, veterans and military spouses, those made redundant, female candidates and unemployed individuals with outdated skills.

Robert Half's involvement
- Robert Half is working with AWS across the UK to offer AWS re/Start graduates career readiness guidance and support to launch entry-level cloud careers.
- Our aim is not only to utilise our network of clients to find these individuals employment, but also to support the AWS re/Start programme itself. When a graduate is placed into a permanent or interim role with a Robert Half client, 25% of our fee will be passed back to the collaborating training organisations to help fund the programme. We are excited to support this programme across the UK and believe it will directly benefit our clients by providing a wider pool of diverse talent.

E-Learning access:
Access to our e-learning facility with a wide range of training courses, covering technical IT skills to general business and well-being topics.
Career readiness preparation:
We offer each cohort guidance and career tips which includes CV writing and interview support. We also facilitate connections with our extensive employer network.
Dedicated webinars:
Webinars focused on navigating job searches will be provided, along with Q&A sessions with potential employers. Aiding development and exposure to 'real life' scenarios.
