The Permanent Division of Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Compliance Coordinator for an established law firm based in Colchester.

Main purpose of job

To facilitate smooth running of the Compliance function which provides support to the firm's staff in ensuring regulatory compliance, maintenance of best practices and continuous improvements on quality and working practices.

Key tasks - this will include but will not be limited to the main responsibilities given below:

 

 

 Assist in undertaking internal file reviews in accordance with our Lexcel Standards. Full training will be provided.

 

 

 Produce reliable and relevant management reports by analysing compliance data and other relevant business information.

 Administer and manage the new online Compliance Platform.

 Organise and categorise management information collated on the platform and provide insights into how we maximise the system's ability to provide business intelligence.

 Provide actionable input into the design of the bespoke system to effectively monitor and maintain the firm's 3Ps (Policies, Procedures and Precedents).

 Liaison with the portal vendors and 3rd parties. Research best practices in the industry.

 Work collaboratively and proactively with other support functions including Learning & Development, HR, IT, Business Development and Finance in monitoring competitively compliant systems and projects to improve working practices.

 Facilitate training and support to staff on the new Compliance Platform.

 Support the Compliance function in updating the Risk Case Studies and Risk Reports.

 Undertake supportive role in preparing and maintaining the firm's commercially advantageous accreditations.

 Graduate level, ideally law.

The role of Compliance Coordinator is paying up to 25k plus benefits
