Robert Half Finance and Accounting are partnered with a well-established business in the leisure sector to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team.
The Finance Assistant Role:
An opportunity to be a part of a small finance team taking ownership of a multitude of responsibility and supporting the Financial Controller with the day to day running of the finance function alongside key responsibilities at month end.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger: processing invoices, payment runs, order processing, queries
- Bank reconciliations
- Management of Fixed Asset Registers and preparation of depreciation journals
- Maintenance and reconciliation of petty cash
- Ownership of Nominal Ledgers
- Preparation of Payroll
The successful candidate will possess a well-rounded with proven experience within transactional/operational finance alongside month end duties up to trial balance. You will have a solid background in operational accounting and possess excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with board third party suppliers. This position would suit an AAT Qualified or Qualified By Experience Accountant.
