Robert Half are actively recruiting for a PART TIME Accounts Assistant based in Altrincham. This position will be for 3 days and will be for a minimum of 2 months and paying in the region of £10/12per hour.
This is a varied role within a growing software company. You will need to be proactive and comfortable working on your own initiative with a lot of autonomy. Assisting with the general day to day finances, you will report to our Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of our company finances.
What will you be doing?
- Purchase ledger - inputting purchase invoices, checking supplier statements, dealing with any queries.
- Sales Ledger - raising sales invoices
- Credit control - chasing payments, creating customer statements.
- VAT return
- Bank transactions - entering all payments in and out.
- Bank statement reconciliations.
- Expenses - reconciling pre-paid credit card statements with expense claims, paying out of pocket expenses.
- Other ad-hoc duties as necessary.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage a wide variety of tasks without direct supervision
- A self-starter' with excellent time management and organization coupled with tenacity to get the job done
- Excellent numerical and verbal reasoning skills with attention to detail
- Strong communicator
- Strong IT skills
