THE COMPANY

Established in 2004, Principal Medical Limited (PML) is a GP owned and led 'not for profit' primary care organisation run by GPs and health professionals. PML holds a number of core contracts to deliver a range of high quality primary care and community services across Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

THE ROLE

The Systems and Rota Coordinator will be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation and management of the company's Clinical and Operational Rota Management and Compliance System. Rota and compliance information is to be maintained accurately to ensure all staff records are accurate and payroll is processed in a timely manner.





Systems

  • Act as a system 'Super User' and manage day to day operational issues
  • Input accurate HR, Payroll and Compliance data into the management system for all employed and contract staff including annual leave, sickness and adjustments
  • Be responsible for inputting and accurately maintaining staff compliance data into the system in line with company policy and Data Protection Act.
  • Be responsible for creating new operational rotas in the system or making changes to existing. Liaising with Service Managers to deliver on contractual requirements
  • Be responsible for ongoing training and first line support to system users
  • Ensure records and files are maintained accurately
  • Export payroll and other data from the scheduling system to produce management reports and be responsible for accurate compilation and import of payroll information

Payroll, Accounts and Data Analysis

  • Import of payroll data from rota system into SAGE payrol
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc operational tasks e.g. invoicing, cash book postings
  • Data analysis and ad-hoc reporting as and when required

SALARY & BENEFITS

Circa £25,000 depending on experience

Hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.30pm

Contributory pension scheme

25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Experience in operating and co-ordination of payroll and pensions administration
  • Ability to manually calculate tax and NI contributions
  • Excellent experience in IT systems and software, with the ability to learn quickly and train others
  • Strong Excel skills for data analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with impeccable attention to detail
