The details of this role.

Reports To: Direct to Global CFO and indirect to Managing Director & VP EMEA and ANZ

Location: Basingstoke, UK

The FD EMEA and ANZ position provides accounting, financial planning, treasury, operations, IT and HR support to the International subsidiary located in the UK with responsibility for business in the UK, rest of Europe, Australia and New Zealand. In addition, responsible for preparation of statutory accounts for the UK subsidiary. This position is a business partner to the entire TBEU leadership team and also works closely with the US and Corporate finance teams.

The position will manage transaction processing functions including billing. In addition, the position will be involved in 3PL logistics activities. Financial planning and analysis is a critical function in the organization and the position will be heavily involved in developing the annual and three year plans for EMEA and ANZ. The position also manages the monthly forecast process.


  • Work closely with senior management, providing insightful analyses of revenue, labour, expenses and capital to help drive business activities toward achieving financial goals
  • Design and develop management reports, working with senior management to define and track key operational/financial metrics and performance analysis
  • Responsible for working capital management and performance
  • Prepare and file annual statutory accounts for the subsidiary
  • Manage the quarterly reviews and annual audits of the subsidiary
  • Coordinate SOX404b internal control requirements with Corporate Controller
  • Perform detailed review and analysis of revenue by customer, SKU and geography
  • Perform financial analyses to support major strategic initiatives and capital investment decisions
  • Develop accurate revenue, EBITDA, CapEx, cash flows and headcount forecasts
  • Prepare monthly management reports emphasizing operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends
  • Perform actual to budget/forecast variance analyses while highlighting risks/opportunities
  • Provide financial leadership in the development of departmental annual plans and forecasts
  • Prepare quarterly presentations to the UK company Board
  • Support analyses of Division M&A opportunities and acquisition integration
  • Manage tax strategies for the UK subsidiary and participate in the global tax planning with Corporate Controller
  • Manage UK subsidiary revolving credit facility with Bank of America. Prepare and report as required under the loan facility agreement
  • Support Human Resource needs as required working closely with the Global team
  • Support company General Counsel in regards to legal matters. Coordinate with local counsel in regard to legal matters
  • Work closely with company risk management team to secure proper levels of insurance coverage for the subsidiary and in compliance with EU standards
  • Review and advise on structure and construction of incentive plans
  • Serve as point of contact for Global IT leader relative to operations


  • BA in Accounting or Finance; ACA / CIMA / ACCA preferred, MBA a plus
  • 7+ years' experience
  • IFRS Reporting and US Sox 404b experience preferred
  • Experience managing and developing staff
  • Financial systems experience: advanced Excel, strong PowerPoint skills, exposure to Adaptive Insights or similar, BI system experience (QLIK/Tableau/MSBI); Sage 200 G/L experience a plus
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; demonstrate thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills


£100,000-£125,000 plus a car allowance and bonus, plus other great benefits.
