Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a creative company based near Birmingham Airport.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone from an Accounts Payable background that is looking for something different from a new role. The client is looking for someone with 18 months of experience working with the Purchase Ledger, who has a keen eye for detail and an enquiring mind. Strong communication skills are a must, as the role will include exposure to senior managers within the business.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will also have links to other areas of the business so excellent interpersonal skills are essential to building relationships. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Day to day processing of the Purchase Ledger
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Managing supplier statements
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Petty Cash
- Ad hoc duties
This hands on role requires the candidate to have excellent timekeeping skills and attention to detail to ensure all month end deadlines are completed. An adaptable person is required in this role, as it will receive exposure to other month end duties.
Salary & Benefits
Salary is £20,000 - £22,000 with additional company benefits. Free car parking on-site also included.
