Accounting and Finance
Robert Half have partnered with a large business based near Coventry to recruit for a Property Accountant to assist the Property division with vast growth the have experienced over the passed 2/3 years. The role will report to the Property Accounting Manager and provide the ideal candidate with a hybrid of in the detail accounting and business partnering.
Lead, manage and review the accurate, timely and efficient processing of property-related expenditure and associated payments, ensuring compliance with internal policies, controls and SLAs.
Develop, implement and monitor processes, systems and controls in order to manage and mitigate risk whilst optimising resources, delivering good customer service and accurately processing and recording property-related expenditure and associated payments.
Deliver and make recommendations to continuously improve the production and analysis of comprehensive, accurate and timely financial data and reports, in order to meet regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
Co-ordinate, analyse and control the production of property budgets and forecasts, in collaboration with key stakeholders within the Department and Group Finance, in order to accurately predict future expenditure, effectively manage costs, minimise variances, allocate resources and meet Group targets.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the Department and Finance Division, in addition to external relationships with Managing Agents, to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and representation of the Department.
Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential.
Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required and to the standards and outcomes as agreed with Line Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Must be Qualified ACCA, CIMA OR ACA
- Knowledge of relevant accountancy principles and practices, management accounts and regulatory and statutory requirements is essential.
- Knowledge of Finance systems
- Applying numeracy & communication skills
- Dealing with customers with confidence demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to explain complex financial information in written and verbal form to financial and non-financial people.
On offer is a competitive package of between £40,000-£45,000 per annum & benefits
