Description

Robert Half Cambridge are delighted to be recruiting for an Interim Group Financial Controller for a business based in Bishops Stortford on an initial 6-month contract. The client is looking for a quick turnaround, therefor needing someone who is immediately available. Please see the job spec below.

The Role:

  • Production of monthly Board Pack and consolidated management accounts.
  • Coaching, leading and developing the finance team, of which this role will have 5 direct reports.
  • Assist the CFO and CEO with any projects that assist in developing the groups strategic plan.
  • Assist with the preparation of the group's annual budget and periodical re forecasts.
  • Work with all areas of the business to continue to drive efficiency's through the daily processes and controls that are currently in place.
  • Assist the CFO and CEO with any projects that assist in developing the groups strategic plan.
  • Coaching, leading and developing the finance team, of which this role will have 5 direct reports.
  • Review of all reporting documents that are produced by the finance team, e.g. external (VAT returns, etc) and internal (budgeting documents, communications, etc).
  • Lead the annual audit and tax compliance process globally.
  • Prepare and take ownership of the group and companies statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

Profile:

  • Proactive and energetic doer and strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in the use of Excel, including data manipulation
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Preferably experienced within Microsoft NAV and JET reporting.
  • Ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A natural leader, yet someone who understands the value of their team.
  • Preferably experienced within Microsoft NAV and JET reporting.
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
