Our client - a growing finance team are looking for an experienced Billing Associate to join them on a fixed term contract for a period of up to 6 months and take full responsibility of the day-to-day running of the sales ledger.


Our client - a growing finance team are looking for an experienced Billing Associate to join them on a fixed term contract for a period of up to 6 months and take full responsibility of the day-to-day running of the sales ledger.

Role

*Setting up customer statements of work and ensuring PO's received

*Preparing and issuing monthly invoices based on consultant's timesheet and bookings

*New business billing, deferred and unbilled revenue

*Annual renewals billing, working with the CSM Business Analyst

*Uploading invoices to customers procurement portals in a timely manner

*Dealing with all invoice queries to resolution,

*Monthly professional services revenue reconciliation, accrued and deferred income

*Assisting with the preparation for the annual audit

In addition to these duties, the Billing Associate will also provide some support in providing back up to the Finance team at month end; additionally, there will be some ad hoc administrative responsibilities, including opening the post, answering the phone and assisting with queries.

Profile

Must have skills/experience:

*Previous experience in working within a fast-paced, B2B environment

*Practical exposure to the P&L, Balance Sheet and multi-currency experience.

*Previous experience dealing with invoice queries to resolution

Salary & Benefits

£12.50 - £14.35 per hour

Permanent salary negotiated on success of interview, but with expectation of between 25-28k.
