Robert Half are looking to recruit a Lead Software Developer, to join an experienced team of IT professionals in a well respected firm, based in Bradford. As they look to finalise a new strategy, it's important we find the perfect candidate, to help and assist in delivering this platform upgrade, to run as smoothly as possible.
As an experienced software developer you are required to manage a number of developments within the business but primarily an IT transformation project, specifically around developing a bespoke system from VB.Net to C#. The system development and maintenance has been managed in house on the old system, however the new system has been developed by a third party.
In an ideal world it would suit a combined BA and Project Manager with an understanding of BRD requirements to contribute to the development and structure of the documentation in particular for the various modules of the new system.
You will be reporting directly to the Head of / IT Manager.
They are looking for someone who is experienced in C#, VB.net, SQL and comes with a solid understanding of Infrastructure and Project Managing. Coding and Business Analysis experience is also key with this role. You must be highly skilled and eager to put yourself forward.

Desirable technical skills in:-
- ASP.net MVC
They have 11 depo's nationwide and you will be based in the Head Office in Bradford, supporting circa 200 staff. They currently run with an IT Manager, a Systems Administrator and are in demand of an experienced IT Support Officer to assist in the support of internal staff and their bespoke systems, as well as playing a key part in the new strategy project.
Salary & Benefits
Day rate will be between £300 - £400 (dependant on experience)
3 months (approx) Temporary, with a potential view to go Permanent.
Immediate start preferable.
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
