Second Step is a leading mental health charity in the South West offering housing, support and hope to thousands of people with mental health and complex needs. We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled financial analyst, who is also a great communicator, to join our growing, optimistic and hugely ambitious organisation as our Director of Finance & IT. You won't only be great with the numbers, you will also be a natural communicator and leader who will think quickly on their feet while ensuring the organisation has a solid foundation from which to grow.
You will join our go-getting Board as an executive member, and will be ready to deputise for the Chief Executive when necessary. You will be at the top of your game, keen to lead and advise on financial strategy, meet our financial targets and oversee the financial management of our growing organisation - while ensuring we are compliant with statutory regulations. You will be keen to develop and lead our IT strategy so that we can best meet our clients' needs.
What's more, you will be motivated, as we are, by values which will underpin everything you do. As a key player in the Senior Management Team, you will help shape and deliver the next stage in our development and reach to ensure that we improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people across the region.
