The Company

Robert Half Office Team are currently recruiting for an Investment Administrator to join an exciting business who are based in Bristol. This is a great opportunity to work for an established business who have a lovely team environment. This is a permanent opportunity that is paying £18-22,000 per annum

Role

The Investment Administrator will be responsible for day to day accounts tasks, production and maintenance of records and the identification and resolution of issues in a timely manner.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Processing of scheduled and ad-hoc payments
  • Banking - Processing cheques and received payments
  • Process all cheque requests for in respect of Settlement & Firm accounts
  • Process monthly commission payments to Partners and Agents
  • Set up and process standing orders and income payments
  • Perform client money movements and cash sweeps from respective client deposit accounts
  • End of day client money reconciliations
  • Manual processing of all fees as they become receivable to the applicable ledgers
  • Production of routine reporting to the Financial Crime Team
  • Recording and escalating material Rules breaches
  • Client data amendments in line with DPA requirements
  • Identification and resolution of issues
  • Set up and maintenance of Client accounts
  • Liaising with Executives and operational teams
  • Maintain daily MI
  • Support training of new staff and projects

Investment Administrator, Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong Financial Services background
  • Demonstrated understanding of CASS principles and rules
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and constantly developing knowledge / capabilities
  • Communicates well with clients, providers and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Flexible attitude and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Evidence of awareness of FCA regulations and CASS rules

Salary

£18,000 - £22,000
