Description

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, this position develops and maintains accurate programme schedules with programme and project managers across the business including facilitating a collaborative process with our customer across the consultancy programmes. Ensure the quality and accuracy of schedules, early identification of opportunities and risks within the schedules thus leading to a coherent, inclusive and realistic schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the development of any programme plans and the production of analysis, metrics and reports against which the programme performances can be measured.
  • Develop and maintain plans; liaise with programme and functional managers on resource and capability/availability
  • Ensure the schedule adheres to defined programme strategy/requirement, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Critical path analysis undertaken to facilitate de-risking of schedules
  • Assess impact of schedule changes providing constructive challenge to assumptions and logic as required
  • Provide expert input to panning meetings, protecting integrity of schedules and alignment to execution plans
  • Maintain quality requirements regarding scheduling/planning across all of the consultancy's programmes ensuring standardisation of outputs, compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Uphold partnering behaviours and participate in events as required
  • Work within the Planning and Programme functional teams reporting to the MD and indirectly report to Programme Director
  • Working directly with the Programme team in headquarters and operational sites as required

  • Expert user of P6 and Microsoft project

  • Member of a recognised Scheduling body e.g. PRMIA, PMI or Primavera P6 EPPM advanced (desirable)
