Edits content for online; rewrites from press releases and producing content from video footage or audio.
Tracks and communicates key metrics and audience data to help inform content decisions and identify trends.
Distribute and share content through appropriate digital/ social channels.
Attends and contributes to content planning meetings.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
- Degree in a communications-related or digital publishing program and/ or the equivalent work experience.
At least one to two years experience in an editorial -level position is preferred.
Proven record of strong media judgement and decision making.
Experience writing and/ or editing under deadline pressure.
Experience using a variety of website/ social media management and optimisation tools, as well as basic knowledge of analytics programs.
Understanding of digital content trends and industry best practices.
Strong organisational skills are a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic knowledge of computers and various web/ social media programs.
Must be able to multitask, juggling many different projects for a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work quickly and accurately using a Web-based content management system.
Must be hardworking and a self-starter
