Our client is a successful and highly regarded company based in Swindon, is recruiting for an PA to start immediately on a temporary to permenant basis.
You will NEED to be available immediately or with a maximum of a 1 week notice.
This position is a full time position working 37.5 hours a week paying from £14.00-£15.00 P/H, working on a temporary to permenant contract.
This PA role is highly visible externally and internally, and therefore the successful candidate will need to be an exemplar in demonstrating our commitment to quality and delivery skills in this PA role requires the following skills / personal attributes
Clarity and judgement
Clarity of thinking and ability to balance and evaluate often complex situations before responding. The PA will ideally have proven experience of operating at a high level in corporate and/or cultural organisations.
The role will also require the ability to read complex documents (often legal/technical) to distill essential points before relaying these to director. The ability to assemble presentations and reports is required, this should be across a range of media / applications, ideally PowerPoint, Word, InDesign and Adobe. Ability to manage image manipulation to supplement presentations at short notice would also be an advantage. Experience in construction / property sector and grasp of technical vocabulary would be an advantage but is not essential.
This role requires excellent communication skills as this role is often the main point of contact with our most important contacts. It is essential that this person can confidently and effectively communicate verbally and through correspondence. This requires a very high standard in written English with comprehensive knowledge of vocabulary and grammar. Whilst most of our work in the UK experience of other languages would be an advantage.
Organisation and attention to detail
The successful candidate will have had training and/or proven experience in time management (their own and directors, documents, actions and external events / arrangements including travel. The PA should have a track record of confidently organising at director / chief executive level. Mistakes in communications, diary arrangements and preparation for meetings will damage the organisation and so there is no margin for error in this role, therefore attention to detail is essential.
