Description

OfficeTeam Is currently recruiting for Commercial Contracts Executive within a Fintech business. This is ideal for a candidate that is looking to work within a collaborative, driven and fast-paced environment. The role is a paying up to £55.000 per annum plus excellent benefits and is based in the City of London.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the company's bid review committee through which all bids and partnerships are considered for approval. In the event of absence of the Senior Commercial Manager, act as Chair for the meeting driving each bid to conclusion
  • Draft or review then negotiate to close various legal documentation with support from the Senior Commercial Manager or Head of Strategic Business Development and Alliances as required. Documentation will include Confidentiality, Order Forms & associated Licensor Terms & Conditions, Statements of Work, Change Orders, extension schedules and partnership agreements
  • Oversee spend with global suppliers, negotiating adequate and favourable commercial terms. Work with budget owners to develop and implement key category management/supplier plans delivering value for money
  • Continually review Commercial processes, tools and documentation to ensure fitness for purpose, leading changes where appropriate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Intelligence and keen to work hard within a fast growing and dynamic software company with lots to learn and plenty of opportunity to develop as an individual
  • Strong Commercial/Contract Management experience · Expert negotiation skills
  • Self-starter, resilient and tenacious under pressure
  • Strong contract drafting skills and experience adapting commercial terms
  • Shows a willingness to look for ideas or intelligence from outside the immediate team, their business, and their industry
  • Is visibly proactive in resolving potential difficulties and overcoming barriers
  • Shows an understanding of how to build trust with clients through their interactions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity while maintaining effective working relationships
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend changes to existing processes and procedures for greater effect
  • Business related bachelor's degree with previous legal education or experience an advantage
  • MCIPS or working to complete an advantage
