Description

This role is required to support the Credit Risk function in ensuring the company complies with all relevant regulatory principles and requirements. This will suit an individual who is meticulous, comfortable taking ownership and initiative when working independently and alongside the wider business as needed.

Role

  • Keep up-to-date with regulatory developments, including FCA and other regulatory issues; review and summarise publications from regulatory bodies
  • Design, develop and document key Credit Risk policies to ensure the company's activities comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with business areas on the implementation of regulatory driven changes
  • Assist in the implementation of policy and process changes including amendments to system configuration
  • Assist in the redevelopment of MI to provide management with relevant information pertaining to regulatory requirements
  • Support the regular reporting of progress against key milestones in the delivery of assigned initiatives
  • Communicate key risks, issues and dependencies that may impact initiative delivery (time, cost and quality)

Requirements

  • Demonstrable knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
  • Experience of high volume consumer credit risk environments
  • Process-led business improvement experience
  • Compliance experience ideally from within the telecommunications sector
  • Telecommunications experience; strong understanding of consumer credit processes and standards across the industry
  • Practical experience and knowledge of SAS
  • Credit Risk and fraud experience via a multi-channel sales environment
