You will be expected to performing the following tasks in a manner consistent with CFSGAM/FSI values:
Assist Investment teams and dealing staff to ensure that portfolio management strategies are
appropriate reflected in the front office systems and reporting.
This will include but is not limited to appropriate reconciliations and trade management processes:
-Provide support in the maintenance and enhancement of a stable STP environment for Fixed Income
transactions, minimising manual intervention of orders by the team.
-Monitoring all outstanding broker confirmations and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
-Ensuring trades are reported within MIFID guidelines.
-Assist the Dealing team to ensure that the appropriate instructions, block and allocations are
transmitted to the market.
-Assist the Portfolio Managers & Dealing team to ensure effective and timely settlement in the market.
- Work closely with colleagues in Sydney and Hong Kong to effectively manage the global trade cycle.
Provide escalation support in investigation and resolution of any failed fixed income trade. This includes
the use of SWIFT and the monitoring of custodian/broker fail reporting.
-Standard settlement instruction maintenance on Alert.
-Confirm swap coupon payments with counter parties.
- Processing of OTC trade life cycle events such as resets, unwinds & novations, etc.
- Dealing with queries from Portfolio Managers and Dealers.
- Resolving reconciliation differences raised by other Operations teams.
