Our client is an internationally recognised law firm based in Central London. They are looking to hire a full time, senior Application Support Engineer to join their growing team. As the industry leader within this sector, they are looking to continue their rapid growth.

Role

An enthusiastic and ambitious individual is required for this role as you will be involved in a wide variety of exciting projects. You will report into a Lead Developer and be responsible for:

  • Provide effective support for any issues escalated from the wider IT team in relation to applications under your care.
  • Point of contact for any application related change requests
  • Become the technical lead on agreed project work, working closely with other teams and liaising with stakeholders
  • Working closely with the development team on implementing and maintaining all application integrations
  • Working with the IT teams, wider business and relevant support to ensure lines of business applications are in line with business continuity plans
  • Work with wider IT teams to design, build, implement and refresh existing environments for development and testing purposes

Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Administrator, with previous experience of creating, maintaining and updated team sites. Working alongside business stakeholders to identify SharePoint solutions and then formulate a plan of action. Manage platform users, security, patching and updates.
  • Understanding of PowerShell, HTML and .NET
  • Working knowledge of document management systems
  • Great team player
  • The confidence to effectively communicate with stakeholders throughout the business
