Accounting and Finance
This is a fantastic role for a skilled Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge.
As part of the small office team you will be responsible for the transactional accounting as well as being expected to assist with any ad hoc office tasks.
- Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier Statement reconciliations
- Production of daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Project and WIP analysis
- Assisting Finance Manager with month end and year end processes
- Continuous improvement of accounting processes
You will have demonstrable experience of most of the above (WIP experience not necessarily needed). Good excel knowledge and experience with SAGE or other accounting systems.
This is a UK wide company with a small hub in the East end of Edinburgh. There is potential for this role to turn permanent should the candidate wish. They have a turnover of £50 million with sites and projects all over Scotland.
The team is small, close knit and relaxed. The office attire is casual and they are a social team who are friends outside of work as well as at work.
Salary & Benefits
Hourly rate for this role will be £11-13ph depending on experience. This rate is not inclusive of statutory holiday pay.
