Description

Robert Half are supporting a well known property management company in central Edinburgh to recruit an Assistant Accountant. Reporting into the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in the timely and accurate production of financial and management accounts. The company is incredibly progressive and well known within their field.

Role

  • Processing purchase invoices and delivery note
  • Dealing with purchase ledger queries
  • Assisting with month end close and credit control
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and payments
  • Daily Processing of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare inter-company reconciliations and arranging bank transfers
  • Raise applications for payment and sales invoices to customers
  • Preparing and posting journals
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Profile

  • ACCA/CIMA part qualified would be desirable
  • Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper role
  • Well-rounded knowledge of auditing standard and accounting principles
  • Experience of Xero is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Salary & Benefits

In return you will be rewarded with a salary between £25,000 - £30,000 plus a clear progression route through the company
