Description

Robert Half are working with a client based at the Gyle centre on a 3 month rolling contract for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team from the second week in August.

Role

- Process journals

- Ensuring coding and processing of invoices is completed accurately

- Allocating costs appropriatly

- Processing expenses claims

- Raising Purchase Orders

- VAT processing

- Raising Sales Invoices

- Dealing with Supplier Queries

- Assist with preparation of information for monthly management accounts

Profile

Previous experience in a similar role.

Strong Excel skills and good systems knowledge

Excellent communication skills

Proven finance administration skills

AAT/HND or other qualification would be beneficial but not necessary

Company

This is a pharmaceutical provider based near the Gyle centre in Edinburgh. The team is medium sized and you will report directly to the Finance Manager whilst also assisting the Management Accountant.

Hours are 9am - 5pm with flexibility if needed. There is parking and state of the art offices and facilities.

Salary & Benefits

The hourly pay rate for this position will be between £11 and £13ph.
