1st/2nd Line Helpdesk -London

This is an amazing opportunity to join a world leader in the entrainment sector based in the heart of London.

This role Is based in Holborn, London

You will be joining a world class technology team

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Solving first and second level user problems information systems; capturing, understanding and resolving problems as required, in line with best practice and agreed procedures
  • Responding to and satisfying user change requests (i.e. new or changed hardware or software needs)
  • Staffing the IS Helpdesk, in collaboration with colleagues, responding to and recording user requests, problems and enquiries (via phone, email and face to face)
  • Supporting records of technology assets, maintaining records of installed equipment and software licenses to agreed standards
  • Assisting in small scale IS projects

Person specification:

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience, and will have been involved with successful Help Desk and/or problem resolution ("troubleshooting") work in a MS-Windows-based environment, or similar equivalent technical experience. The post-holder will have an understanding of Windows desktop management and client-server technologies and will have knowledge of Dell and HP hardware configuration with regards to PC and laptops.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team player, who can communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels. You will be customer focused with a "can do" attitude and will be able to respond flexibly in reactive situations. The need to stay calm under pressure and prioritise workloads according to agreed standards is essential.
