Our client has is an exciting opportunity to join their Internal Audit team as a Senior Auditor with a real opportunity to add value to the organisation.The Internal Audit Department operates with a high degree of independence and is committed to developing its staff by providing training and a range of challenging and varied assignments. There will be the limited opportunity to travel overseas to amazing destinations, dealing with senior leaders in our client's global network

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, lead and support a small team
  • Planning of audit reviews, assess key risks, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Preparing reports on findings and making recommendations
  • Advising senior business leaders· Working with senior leaders on key projects
  • Travelling internationally, limited to 25% in the role

Your Profile:

The successful candidate must be/have the following:

  • Qualified ICAS or CA
  • Experience gained within FMCG or manufacturing
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail, whilst remaining conscious of the big picture
  • Project management, planning and time management
  • Problem solving and analysis; making clear, concise and constructive recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and the ability to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders in the company
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to engage and influence effectively a range of different audiences, including the ability to give difficult messages in a constructive manner
  • Ability to work as part of a professional community, contributing to continuous development and improvement
  • An understanding of the principles of governance and control
  • Strong influencer who demonstrates professionalism and integrity

Salary:

£50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
