Purchase Ledger Administrator - Huntingdon

Robert Half Cambridge are currently working with an innovative, forward thinking FMCG business who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their finance team based in Huntingdon.

Overview of role

Day to day duties of The Purchase Ledger Administrator will include but not be limited to:

  • Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries
  • Process business expense returns
  • Cashbook and petty cash cheques
  • Processing BACS payments and preparing cheques

You will have a hard-working, no-nonsense attitude, you will be very organised, you will have great interpersonal skills. Your math skills will be strong, and you will be able to deal with information at volume. Being able to pick up new IT skills and having good IT experience is also expected.
