Description

Robert Half are recruiting for Purchasing Assistant to join a successful organisation based in Leeds. Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be expected to perform the following duties:

  • Dealing with procurement queries both internal and from supply chain
  • Placing orders for materials
  • Assist with selection of new suppliers
  • Assist with market testing of supply chain & potential new suppliers
  • Dealing with procurement queries both internal and from supply chain
  • Liaise with all site/network teams regarding the requirements to ensure that materials have been ordered, delivered and off hired in line with the requirements of a given team
  • Assist with the processing of supplier payments / invoices
  • Liaise with other members of the commercial team and wider operational teams as and when required to aid in achieving objectives

Requirements:

  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential
  • Must be comfortable working with numerical data
  • Experience within a similar Purchasing Assistant role desirable
  • Must have the ability to communicate confidently at levels

Salary & Benefits:

£20,000 - £22,000 plus additional benefits
