Robert Half are currently recruiting on behalf of a market leader in their industry, based in East Leeds for a Sales Ledger Clerk on a temp-perm basis. We are seeking a well-organised, detail oriented and hardworking individual to fill this position. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable process and assisting with general accounting activities and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving business.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
generate and send out invoices
follow up on, collect and allocate payments
carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
perform account reconciliations
monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
research and resolve payment discrepancies
maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc
prepare bank deposits
investigate and resolve customer queries
Education and Experience
knowledge of accounts receivable
1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
attention to detail and accuracy
good verbal and written communication skills
problem analysis and problem solving skills
