Accounting and Finance
Our client have had a new position come available within it's Accounts and Finance team based in Leeds city centre.
The role will be be working within a rapidly growing media business, meaning it will be fast paced, challenging and varied. You will be working within a finance team of 5 people, however also working closely with Account Managers to ensure all accounts are kept up to date.
Raising around 200 sales invoices per week.
Allocating cash to the sales ledger.
Dealing with a high volume of complex customer queries.
Raising credit notes.
Performing bank reconciliations.
Processing direct debits mandates.
Carrying out credit checking and supporting the credit control function as and when required.
Monitoring all sales orders.
Chasing overdue accounts.
Issuing monthly statements.
The successful candidate must:
High levels of professionalism, commercially strong and good understanding of how credit control impacts a business.
Previous sales ledger experience in a challenging customer environment.
Have good attention to detail
Previously dealt with high volumes of invoices
Strong team work ethic
Salary & Benefits:
