Description

The Role

Robert Half is pleased to be recruiting an experienced Administrator with a background in Financial Services organisation based in Lichfield.

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will take responsibility for the below:

  • Completing the daily cash transactional process
  • Completing the daily internal and external client money reconciliations and identifying and ensuring the resolution of the discrepancies highlighted by these reconciliations
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all shortfalls and excesses are dealt with in the appropriate manner on the day that they are identified, in line with regulations and internal policies

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates with the below skills and attributes:

  • Strong administration skills
  • Previous experience working as an administrator where the role required high levels of numeracy and literacy specifically custody, clearing, settlements or wealth management
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working in the client asset regime specifically CASS 6 & 7
  • Excellent IT skills, advanced knowledge of Excel and high use of databases
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to perform well under pressure
  • High standard of written and verbal communication
  • Highly numerate
  • Ideally a degree in a numerate subject such as maths, science, economics or engineering or equivalent
  • Investment Operations Certificate would be a distinct advantage

Salary & Benefits

Depending upon experience this role will pay up to £35,000 plus 25 days holiday and a flexible approach to working hours
