Digital Infrastructure Engineer/ Technical Project Manager - Central London

As the company and technology marketplace expands, we are now looking to bring onboard a Digital Infrastructure Lead. 7

The widespread transition to cloud-based applications, smart devices and flexible work-spaces has made digital connectivity vital in enabling businesses to be more productive.

The Role

The Digital Infrastructure Lead will assist in the shaping of the future Digital Infrastructure landscape for the Group and play a pivotal role in the transformational opportunities in delivering seamless digital connectivity to our customers across the Portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, planning and implementation of all Digital Infrastructure and auxiliary connectivity services across the Portfolio.
  • Manage a portfolio of multidisciplinary and single disciplined projects in accordance with the Group's Roadmap.
  • Ensure all Digital Infrastructure requirements are delivered to time and meets the needs of the Group and our customers.
  • Ensure all Digital Infrastructure and Corporate Service requirements are provisioned, delivered and commissioned for Redevelopment, Major Refurbishment, Refurbishment and Retrofit programmes.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of all Corporate services and Connected Technology across the Portfolio.
  • Where data services are to be delivered, ensure all Digital Infrastructure is provisioned and to a standard / specification that supports the successful delivery of Corporate and Partner services across the Portfolio.
  • Work closely with IT, Surveying & Development, Asset Management, Facilities Management and Security to ensure Digital Infrastructure requirements are captured, provisioned and delivered in accordance with the Group's Roadmap and Strategy.
  • Work with external Architects, M&E Consultants, Principal Contractors and third-party suppliers to define, design and deliver all Digital Infrastructure requirements and solutions for Redevelopment, Major Refurbishment, Refurbishment and Retrofit programmes.
  • Attend site meetings and surveys as and when required.
  • Oversee the installation and delivery of fibre and copper infrastructure into the premises by specialist contractors.
  • Oversee the installation of structured cabling and Connected Technology by specialist contractors and third-party suppliers.
  • Work with and liaise with our Technology Partner, specialist contractors and approved suppliers in the delivery of all Digital Infrastructure and connectivity elements across the Portfolio.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day management and structure of all technical and non-technical drawings, reports, test results, quotations and proposals.

Skills & Experiences Required

  • Experience in Digital Infrastructure planning, implementation and delivery.
  • Experience in complex multi-site delivery environments.
  • Understanding of fibre optic, copper and structured cabling standards / models.
  • A good understanding of network architecture and design methodology.
  • Knowledge of FTTP, FTTC, MPLS, Point-To-Point, Fixed Wireless, Tertiary Circuits, Resilience and Diverse Routing.
  • Experience in Programme or Project Management.
  • Experience of managing contractors and supplier relationships.

Salary - £40,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on experience) + Very good Bonus & Benefits
