The Account Executive role

To co-ordinate the administration and general running of the account, from brief to delivery across all operational teams supporting the account with particular focus on the financial operation of the account. Working in close collaboration with the Client Engagement Director and the wider business on a continuous basis.

Your Responsibilities:

Internal communications

  • Effectively communicate with all relevant personnel involved with the account
  • Foster key internal business relationships, i.e. creative, finance, human resources, digital, I.T etc.
  • Support the Client Engagement Director in the collation and reporting of account specific data
  • Follow all approval procedures in compliance with agreed agency / client guidelines
  • Ensure all parties undertake the actions required of them to meet time and budget constraints, to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget

Finance & reporting

  • Develop financial skills and working knowledge of budgeting software to create and maintain project estimates and purchase orders
  • Closely monitor account finances in relation to invoicing, project budgets and timesheets
  • Support a high standard of financial administration across the account
  • Ensure that the team produce estimates and ensure that they are signed off by the Client Engagement Director and client before work commences

Account administration

  • Ensure all account related documentation is filed and updated accordingly
  • Update status reports within 48 hours, both internal and client
  • Open and maintain job bags (electronic and paper) to include all related information across operational teams
  • Arrange project kick off and debrief meetings with all relevant parties (internal and external)
  • Prepare and maintain timing plans, obtaining input and sign off from relevant parties
  • Ensure timely preparation of contact reports, within 48 hrs of meeting and deliver promptly
  • Responsibility for the up-keep of brand books, guard books and case studies

Your skills range

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities, whilst under pressure
  • Capable team player, comfortable in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders (external and internal)
  • Proven track record of reporting and administration
  • Positive can/do attitude
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Hours; 37 per week - Monday-Thursday 0900 to 1730 and Friday 0900 to 1700

Salary; 23-25K (dependent upon experience)
