Description

My client is an M&E consultancy business looking for an Office Administrator working as part of a friendly team. You will share the responsibility for providing a full administration service to 30+ Design Engineers and Company Directors. You must have experience in a leading role. Industry experience would be beneficial but not essential. This will be on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

The Role

My client is an M&E consultancy business looking for an Office Administrator working as part of a friendly team. You will share the responsibility for providing a full administration service to 30+ Design Engineers and Company Directors. You must have experience in a leading role. Industry experience would be beneficial but not essential. This will be on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document/reports writing and checking
  • Copy & audio typing
  • Production of PowerPoint presentations for meetings
  • Marketing/Media inc Updating company website and Twitter/Social media
  • Record Time Sheets and produce reports for invoicing purposes
  • Monitor staff holidays and recording on holiday chart
  • Create SmartArt diagrams
  • Creating templates using Microsoft packages
  • Assisting Project Managers using Microsoft Project Software to track progress of projects up to completion
  • Liaise with Asset Owners, requesting Utility Maps for specific sites and monitoring on an excel tracker
  • Diary Management & conference room booking for internal and external meetings.
  • Booking travel/accommodation & flights for Engineers
  • Arranging and monitoring stock for stationary/office supplies and refreshments
  • Reception Duties
  • General administrative duties such as binding and archive filing and photocopying

To be considered for the role of Office Administrator you must have advanced knowledge of the following Microsoft Packages:

  • Microsoft Word 2010
  • Microsoft Excel 2010
  • PowerPoint 2010
  • Microsoft Outlook 2010

Experience of using the following software would be advantageous; although additional

training can be provided as appropriate:

  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Microsoft Project
  • Document Control Software; eg 4P, Conject, etc.

Salary & Benefits

£20,000 - £27,000paplus benefits dependent upon experience.
