Main responsibilities of the Application Support
* To maintain software systems including CRM, local ERP and intranet systems. * To assist third party vendors implementing software systems and upgrading existing software systems. * To support application owners of local systems advice in areas of security and best practices * To evaluate and learn new technologies and skills as appropriate. * To write and maintain documentation of business systems and provide training as required to the business. * To setup, maintain and develop reporting for business systems, using tools including Microsoft Excel, Access, Crystal Reports and BI.
Skills required for Application Support
* Experience working scripting languages such as PHP, Vbscript and HTML * Knowledge of T-SQL and MSSQL databases * Advanced T-SQL programming knowledge * Creating BI reports and dashboards * Experience of workflow type tools * Have worked in a business environment
Salary & Benefits
Paying up to £35,000 plus excellent benefits
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
