Head of IT Application Management

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT application services across the organisation infrastructure landscape and be accountable for enhancing the application services as well as service delivery and cost recovery whilst working with business unit leadership to understand the business outcomes of the service. Key responsibilities will be to understand IT service cost drivers and connect cost of service to consumption drivers and sets price for services based on an understanding of the benchmark service level and price for service in the industry alongside guiding continuous improvement efforts for the IT service delivery. You will promote a culture of innovation and continuously seek opportunities for improvement within the role, processes, team and the IT organisation as a whole. Ensure quality of service and support is designed into all infrastructure solutions and appropriate support models are in place and own process management and service level agreement reporting for all IT teams, ensuring consistent work and appropriate measures.
To be considered you will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate and build relationships outside the IT function and foster a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders. You will have excellent a strong record in IT service pricing, business case development, and account management. You will have a broad working knowledge of effective vendor management and IT continuity management. In person you will display professionalism, a customer service focused attitude, attention to detail and quality, and excellent communication & influencing skills. Experience working in a matrix management environment would be beneficial.
