As the successful applicant you will join the newly created group IT function and play a pivotal role I the next stage of the organisations development, you will be tasked with developing, maintaining and enhancing all Group-wide IT security related activities in support of business needs. You will have responsibility for the planning, directing and managing of all audit activity in Group IT to ensure adherence to and compliance with regulations and standards and will work closely with other senior members of the Group IT Team to establish and deliver the IT Security strategy across the organisation. Examples of key responsibilities will include Develop, maintain and enhance all Group-wide IT security related activity to ensure a fit for purpose and robust function that protects the integrity of information stored and transmitted on company IT systems and networks. Oversee the planning, directing and management of all IT audit activity within the IT organisation to ensure adherence to and compliance with regulations and standards. Influence senior business and IT leadership across the Group to raise awareness and secure engagement with the business on key areas of information security, including security policies and standards, incident management, security awareness, security consultancy and divisional/regional compliance assessments. Facilitate policy and practice development with senior leadership for business decisions related to information security.
To be considered you will be able to demonstrate previous experience creating and implementing information security policies within a complex organisation, you will be confident and articulate business leader capable of working with and influencing c-level executives. Key skills required include information policy formulation, information security management, and business risk management, IT risk assessment and management, IT continuity management, IT governance formulation, and organisational change management.
