As the successful applicant you will be responsible for developing and delivering end-to-end IT services within the IT Operations function across multiple time zones to provide client support 24x7x365. You will be accountable for enhancing the IT service as well as service delivery and cost recovery and will work with business unit leadership to understand the business outcomes of the service. The service manager tracks service KPIs to drive ongoing improvements in service delivery performance. A selection of key responsibilities be to develop the IT services strategy and develops an annual strategy to enhance service delivery. Understand IT service cost drivers and connect cost of service to consumption drivers and sets price for services based on an understanding of the benchmark service level and price for service in the industry. Ensure quality of service and support is designed into all IT solutions and appropriate support models are in place. Monitor and manage problem resolution and coordinates change management. Own process management and service level agreement reporting for all IT teams, ensuring consistent work and appropriate measures.
To be considered you will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate and build relationships outside the IT function and foster a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders. A strong working knowledge of effective vendor management and IT continuity management, experience managing service desks across an international multi-site business. You will have a pro-active approach to problem management and be able to manage difficult scenarios when the situation arises.
