An exciting opportunity to join a brand new team for a global leader in their field as a Back-End Developer creating frameworks and API's. Our clients help their customers understand the dynamics of their market place allowing them to turn data into business opportunities.
Whilst the role is for a brand new team, they already have an established global, but close knit team in place. This team is currently creating, delivering and maintaining their industry recognised software-based solutions platform. They are alos offering hte opportunity to work one day from home if desired.
As the Back-End Developer you will be creating the backbone for their systems, implementing frameworks and API's. These days it's all about movement, transformation and presentation of data. You can expect to be actively working on data pipelines and data hosting AWS' Big Data Services. Efficiency, quality and automation are paramount to keep the data flowing to those who depend on it operationally and those who consume it as part of our clients product portfolio.
The company is looking for an individual that has experience in server-less functions and micro-services which manage and process data, you will have also built up significant database experience both relational and non-relational holding very large volumes of data and written database functions and Python scripts to process the data contained within them.
Essential skills & technologies:
- AWS certified cloud practitioner
- Windows OS
- Spring: Boot, Cloud Config, Security, Data JPA, AWS
- Machine Learning: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe2
