The Role

To oversee the Sales & Marketing activities within the organisation. This is a new position and will be responsible for strategy, sales delivery and marketing programs within the short & long term, focusing on existing and new services.

The ideal individual will possess leadership abilities, as they will be responsible for motivating, training and developing the existing sales & marketing teams, with the ambition to secure rapid growth and development, focusing on increasing activity levels across the various revenue streams.

It would be advantageous to have a successful track record within a multi-site hospitality, lifestyle, or private healthcare organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement strategic marketing & sales campaigns across a wide range of services
  • Develop, recommend and implement strategies for service positioning, delivery and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share
  • Analyse, develop and motivate the existing sales & marketing teams, delivering training to increase productivity, product knowledge and conversion rates
  • Create & implement marketing campaigns focusing on lead generation and conversion
  • Understand & develop different personas across the various services within each client demographic
  • Encourage upselling, repeat business and recommendations throughout
  • Demonstrate success in sales, specifically within a services industry over various communication means - face-to-face, telephone, email and social
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, Social Media (paid & organic), website development/design, clickrate optimisation - including ability to manage the relationship with our Digital Marketing Agency
  • Strong knowledge of press, influencers and outreach - including ability to manage the relationship with our PR Agency
  • Keen eye for creativity, within graphic design, copywriting and digital
  • Sound understanding of IT systems, including CRM & booking systems
  • Understand the differences & similarities between B2B and B2C
  • Understand the importance of customer service and account management
  • Meet with key clients, assist sales team, maintain relationships
  • Understand the importance of, and difference between, high-ticket/high-profit, low-margin/high volume, loss leader/top of funnel services
  • Track and analyse successes & shortcomings across the marketing & sales teams, specifically relating to leads, conversions, revenue & profit generated
  • Keep up to date with competitor offerings, initiatives and market updates
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Prepare marketing & sales activity reports for management
  • Create sales forecasts, set performance goals and KPIs
  • Be flexible to attend multiple sites as needed

Hours: Full time
