IT Desktop Support Engineer - North London - Leading Software Business - Permanent

The role the Desktop Support Analyst is to provide support for our internal users & SaaS and Corporate environments. Working in a secure and compliant team, you will provide Desktop Support to our internal user base/ clients on our excellent customer platform

Some of the Responsibilities include:

  • Perform the day-to-day support for the corporate environment, providing desk side/remote support and ensuring incidents and service requests are given a permanent resolution in the shortest possible time.
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows desktop (with some Macs) environments
  • Supporting the corporate and development environments
  • Working within ISO27001, PCI DSS, HIPPA, SOC1 and SOC2 compliance rulings
  • Asset management of hardware and software; spare equipment and replacement parts
  • Have a keen eye on new technologies, recommending new hardware and/or software which can add benefit and value to the organization
  • Maintain excellent relationships with business users and stakeholders, as well as other IT team members
  • Follow defined procedures and standards within the team, and assist the development of new ones
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors and failures to root cause
  • Participate in weekend work as required


  • Windows Desktop support
  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Office 356
  • Apple Mac OS support would be advantageous
  • Mobile and handheld device support iOS/Android
  • Networking Experience with Wireless, VoIP and VPN
  • Active Directory administration
  • Printer support
  • Dell hardware experience
  • ITIL methodology experience (Certification is advantageous)
  • Microsoft Certifications such as MCP or working towards an MCSE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate well with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks
  • Team oriented with a demonstrable understanding of customer service and support
  • Drive, passion and a commitment to service excellence
  • Determination and ability to learn new technologies

Location - State of the art offices in North London

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 + Generous Bonus & Excellent Benefits
