Description

Robert Half are currently working with a reputable, growing consultancy business in central Oxford on an exclusive partnership to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their friendly finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is looking to take a step in their career and further their skills/experience in order to further their career. This exciting role is offering a salary between £22,000 - £24,000 plus study support and a number of excellent benefits.


The Role

As the Finance Assistant, your duties will consist of:

  • Full maintenance of the purchase ledger
  • Inputting invoices into the accounting system
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Processing payments
  • Sending out remittances
  • Ensuring certain invoices are recorded and paid accordingly
  • Processing employee expenses
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Ensure credit cards are submitted accordingly for month end
  • Posting nominal ledger transactions
  • Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations when required
  • Assisting the Assistant Accountant with billings and other duties when required




Requirements

  • Must have a minimum 12 months experience within an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role
  • AAT/ACCA/CIMA or QBE (Qualified By Experience) will be considered
  • Keen to learn

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines




Salary & Benefits



Our client is offering a salary between £22,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience), study support, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and a number of attractive benefits.
