An Application Support Engineer is required to join a global engineering company based in their central Reading office. This is a critical role within a compact technology team which will suit a candidate who is keen to learn while providing exceptional support to key stakeholders.
In this Application Support Engineer role you will be responsible for:
- Providing 1st and 2nd Line support for internal users software applications
- Supporting and working with the DevOps team on new software releases
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all custom software solutions
- Organize and manage DevOps team helpdesk system
- Organize online training materials and workshops
The successful Application Support Engineer will be an experienced IT professional who can demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and has a willingness to learn. Experience of networking and SQL is highly desirable.
This role could provide a path to future specialisation in networking or DevOps so if you have an interest in either this could be a great role for you.

Salary & Benefits
This Application Support Engineer role will pay £26,000-£30,000 per annum, parking is provided and there is also the potential to work 3 days from home after the initial probation period.
