Description

Robert Half are recruiting for a Sales Director to join a Best Practice research organisation who supply transformative data insights to schools, colleges and universities. Operating on an international basis, this highly innovative and successful organisation provide proven research that increase results within enrolment management, student performance and operations.

Partnering with senior executives and practitioners at colleges and universities, the successful candidate will be tasked with selling research forum memberships and subscription-based solutions within an assigned prospect pool of educational institutions across Western Europe. This is a home-based role that will require regular travel to Western Europe. The ideal candidate for this role will be based in the UK and have background within Education sales.

Responsibilities:

  • In this home-based role, you will develop and execute strategic plan for selling research forum memberships and subscription-based solutions within an assigned prospect pool of educational institutions in Western Europe
  • Build relationships by meeting with senior executives at colleges and universities to discuss their business issues, present best practice solutions, and convey the organisations value proposition offerings
  • Conduct consultative one-on-one on site presentations to educate prospective members on services
  • Provide insights from marketing visits to inform future research initiatives and new product development inquiries
  • Successfully negotiate and acquire new clients, and expand memberships for existing clients
  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue goals through management of a sales pipeline with pursuits in various stages of the evaluation process

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Previous Sales Director experience gained within the Education sector preferably
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proven negation and persuasion skills
  • Must possess a minimum of six years relevant senior sales experience ideally operating at Sales Director level
  • Desire to succeed in a sales environment and sell prospects on the current and future proposition of a product
  • Engaging and memorable presentation style
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with an executive-level audience
  • Proven track record of success in achieving revenue and sales targets
  • Consultative-based sales experience essential
  • Must be comfortable with remote working as this is a home-based role
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel to Western Europe

Salary & Benefits:

£60,000 - £85,000k, uncapped commission structure, plus arrange of great benefits
