Business Support and Sales Ledger Clerk

 

Robert Half are currently working on a RETAINED basis supporting a local client who are specialist in the double-glazing sector.

As a privately-owned SME, Aluminium Windows Ltd are surveyors, manufacturers and installers of high end Aluminium products. Due to continued success, the business has grown.

This business growth means that Aluminium Windows Ltd are able to offer a fantastic opportunity for a driven Business Support and Sales Ledger Clerk to join their offices in Southampton.

This business administration role will be essential to continue building their clients experience by supporting various areas across the business. You will need to drive for this role as it involves some ad-hoc local travel.

 

Role:
 

  • Be the point of contact for all inbound client calls, directing to appropriate departments
  • Administer customer contracts with agreed parameters set by the sales team whilst taking responsibility to follow up and confirming receipt
  • Use Sage to accurately raise Sales Invoices, send to customers and diarise time to confirm receipt noting all appropriate details
  • Use data from accounts, sales and other departments to complete end of period reports on excel for performance analysis
  • Prepare and send company emails and letters for customers and other stakeholders
  • Support the business with additional areas including filling, scanning, organising and projects
  • With training, eloquently be able to offer customers a good understanding of the service that Pure Windows can provide

 

Profile:

The candidate will need to be a professional and acutely detail orientated individual who has previously worked in a customer care, accounts, business support or front of house position. Robert Half are looking for the below profile:

    • An excellent telephone manner along with a conscientious, personable approach
    • Proven strong organisational and administration skills is essential
    • You must be able to work effectively under pressure and have good time management
    • Experience using Sage software is advantageous
    • Accuracy and attention to detail in this role is key
    • Have a keen eye for detail and ability to deal with accurate data entry and checking

Salary and benefits:

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £18,000 to £24,000 DOE

Benefits: Free On-site Parking + 20 days plus Bank Holidays + Regular Salary Reviews

Location: Southampton, SO14
