Robert Half Finance & Accounting are actively recruiting for a temporary part-time Payroll Administrator to join a growing SME in Surrey. This position is a 9 - 12 month maternity cover, paying £14 - £16 per hour and offers parking on-site.
As a Payroll Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Paying monthly salaries and weekly wages to employees and casual workers
- Arranging transfers from the companies account to employees' accounts via BACS payment
- Ensuring that government taxes and other statutory deductions are deducted in accordance with statutory policy and paid to the appropriate authorities, liaising with local tax offices, P11d production and calculation to HMRC
- Setting up payroll arrangements for new employees and ensuring arrangements cease for employees who leave the business
The successful candidate is likely to have a history of working within Payroll. To be considered for the role you must have strong communication skills and have a high attention to detail.
