Description

Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator on behalf of a well established security solutions business, based in Watford.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining client database on internal and external systems
  • Raising sales invoices and credit notes in SAGE 50
  • Client cash allocation in Sage 50
  • Client Bank account reconciliation SAGE 50
  • Submission of Sales schedules to the Bank
  • Running daily Cash reports from the Bank
  • Client account reconciliation between factoring Bank and Sage accounts
  • Credit Control
  • housekeeping of all digital and hard copy files and folders within Sales Ledger area
  • Submitting statements to customers
  • Chasing up and resolving invoicing queries, internal communication as well as with the clients
  • Providing accounts support to FD and Accounts Manager with any special projects and tasks that may be required from time to time
  • Liaising with clients and answering / resolving invoice queries
  • Ensuring that all financial processes within Accounts Receivable comply with quality standards
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Assisting with accounts audits
  • General office admin duties such as e-filing/filing, answering the telephone

Key Skills required:

  1. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
  2. Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail
  3. Able to work cooperatively within a team as well as on own initiative and to establish own priorities
  4. Able to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
  5. Ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and follow through to achieve required results
  6. Able to communicate effectively to understand and to be understood

Salary & Benefits

  • Sales Ledger Administrator
  • Full time: 9am - 5pm
  • Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays
  • Wages £20,000 - £23,000 depending on experience
  • Pension - auto-enrolment workplace pension with NEST
