Robert Half, Welwyn Garden City are pleased to be working exclusively with a globally recognised organisation who has recently bought an SME business in Welwyn Garden City.
The business in Welwyn Garden City is a small production site with 2 product lines. It produces a balance sheet and P&L, but has no operational or cost accounting in place.
The role of Interim Operational / Cost Accountant will be the following;
- Set up a standard costing system
- Create margin reporting
- Set-up bill of materials
- Create an inventory system
The group company need to make some key site decisions, but cannot do so until this is in place.
The successful candidate will be a manufacturing / cost accountant who has demonstrable experience in the manufacturing / production accounting disciplines. This person will also be able to implement, with little or no supervision, a reporting system that can capture what is going on from a operational finance perspective at this production site.
Salary & Benefits
The role of interim Operational / Cost Accountant will pay £300 - £500 a day dependent on experience and will be approximately 3 months in length.
The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
